Story of a wild wolf-dog's journey from the untamed wilderness of the Yukon to a domesticated life among humans. The novel begins with White Fang's birth in the wild, where he learns to survive in the harsh environment, facing the dangers of the wild, such as hunger and predatory threats. As he grows, he encounters humans for the first time when he and his mother are captured by a group of Native Americans. Throughout the story, White Fang struggles with his instincts, torn between his wild nature and the demands of domestication. He is passed from one master to another, each with different approaches, ranging from harsh and abusive to kind and nurturing. The turning point comes when White Fang is saved from an abusive owner by a compassionate man named Weedon Scott, who patiently earns White Fang's trust and love. Through this relationship, White Fang learns to adapt to a more peaceful and loving existence, ultimately finding a sense of belonging and loyalty. The novel explores themes of survival, the struggle between nature and nurture, and the possibility of redemption and change.
